Festival Applications

JazzYYC International Jazz Days (Week of April 30th)
JazzYYC Summer Festival (Last week of June)
JazzYYC Canadian Festival (2nd Weekend of Nov)

Multiple artists/groups will be chosen for our festivals and performances / streams which will take place in accordance with the most up to date Alberta Government health regulations.
Application deadlines for out-of-Province artists as follows (brackets indicate number of months in advance application to be submitted prior to festival at the latest to be considered):
- July 15 – JazzYYC Canadian Festival (4 months in advance)
- December 15 – JazzYYC International Jazz Days (4 months in advance)
- October 1 – JazzYYC Summer Festival
  (Canada Council applications – Submit prior to October CCA deadline)
- December 1 – JazzYYC Summer Festival
  (International Artists – 6 months in advance)
Application deadlines for Alberta artists as follows:
- August 1 – JazzYYC Canadian Festival (3 months in advance)
- January 15 – JazzYYC International Jazz Days (3 months in advance)
- January 15 – JazzYYC Summer Festival (5 months in advance)
Artists/Groups selected for the festival will be compensated for their performance

Educational Video (Year Round)

Create and produce an educational video that is unique, engaging and has a specific jazz focus. Multiple videos will be chosen throughout the season and will be released in consultation with the artist.
All editing and production work to be completed by musician(s). No panels or logos please.
Once a proposal is selected, completed videos to be submitted as a video file with 720p or 1080p resolution via a link provided by JazzYYC at least 2 weeks prior to video release date.
