This Friday, September 19, join us for a special night of live jazz with John Charles Reid & Caravan Latin Band.

Led by Calgary jazz veteran John Reid, this quartet brings together decades of professional experience, classic jazz, swing and Latin-inspired rhythms for a warm, energetic live performance.

John has been leading jazz groups since the 1970s, has performed at the Havana Jazz Plaza International Festival, recorded for CBC, and throughout his career has performed alongside artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Diana Krall, Harry Connick Jr. and many more. He also led the Latin-jazz band Caravan for many years after studying and performing in Cuba.

Featuring:

Expect smooth melodies, expressive solos, Latin grooves and that classic live-jazz atmosphere that just hits differently in an intimate room.
